This burner provides stable ignition, efficient combustion, and consistent cooling performance

Typical signs of a burner problem include:

• Fridge won't light or stay lit on gas

• You can hear/see the igniter sparking but there's no flame

• Flame is weak, yellow, irregular or keeps going out

• Fridge works on electric but doesn't cool properly on gas

• Burner area is badly corroded or damaged

• Burner/jet has become obstructed with dirt, rust or insects

  However, poor cooling on gas doesn't automatically mean the burner needs replacing. It could also be the jet/nozzle, igniter/electrode, gas supply, regulator, thermocouple, or another part of the fridge.
